Everybody loves these refreshing pops. Perfect for a 4th of July picnic.
Patriotic Pops
1 small package Jell-O Cherry flavor 1 c. sugar 4 c. water ice cubes 1 small package Jell-O Berry Blue flavor 8 oz. Cool Whip thawed
Combine cherry gelatin and 1/2 cup sugar in bowl. Add 1 cup boiling water, stir until disolved. Add ice cubes to 1 cup water to equal 2 cups. Add to gelatin and stir until ice is melted. Pour evenly into 16 (5 oz) cups. Freeze 1 hour.
Repeat with blue gelatin but do not freeze. Refrigerate 1 hour.
Spoon 3 tablespoons on top of red gelatin then divide the blue gelatin on top. Freeze for 1 hour; insert popcicle sticks and freeze for 4 hours.
