Perfect Pot Roast

This roast is easy to do and is sure to be a family favorite.

Perfect Pot Roast

2 pound chuck pot roast
1/2 cup onion
2 cans beef broth
3 T. minced garlic
2 T. Worcestershire
2 t. oregano
2 t. basil
salt and pepper

Brown roast in Dutch oven. Remove roast and saute onions. Put roast back in pan. Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook for 2 1/2 to 4 hours, checking to be sure it has enough water.
