This is a simple snack you can make ahead to take for a healthy snack.
Apple Oat Bars
2 c. regular oats (not quick) 1 c. raisins 1 small jar applesauce 2 c. milk 1/2 c. slivered almonds cinnamon
In a 8 x 8 pan layer 1/3 of the oats, 1/2 of the raisins, 1/3 of the oats, all of the applesauce. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Layer 1/2 of the milk, the rest of the raisins, the rest of the oats, all of the almonds. Sprinkle with cinnamon and top with the rest of the milk.
Put in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.
