Green Pea Potato Soup

A great tummy-warming soup for winter that's really good for you. The soup is made with frozen peas instead of dry peas so it cooks up quickly.

Green Pea Potato Soup
1/4 c. green onions
3 large potatoes
4 to 6 c. broth
3 c. frozen green peas
1/4 t. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Cook onions and potatoes in broth about 15 minutes, until potatoes are soft. Add peas and spices and cook another 5 minutes. For a smooth soup, process in blender about 2 cups at a time.
