This is an old fashioned egg nog for Christmas. This makes 12 servings, 1/3 cup each.
Egg Nog
Beat together: 2 cups milk 6 eggs 1/4 cup sugar pinch of salt Put in a saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until thick enough to coat a metal spoon - 160 degrees. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 quart low fat milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Refrigerate several hours. Sprinkle with nutmeg to serve.
